Darin Rand is the solutions manager for the state of Oregon Enterprise Technology Services where he is responsible for the development of technical architecture, owns the customer relationship and manages the service portfolio for the organization which provides core information technology infrastructure to state agencies with nearly 40,000 employees.
He has 14 years of technology management experience, working in startups prior to joining the state of Oregon Department of Administrative Services in 2002. His areas of expertise include running programs as self-sustaining businesses; service and project portfolio management, financial and vendor management; process development and re-engineering and leading high-performance teams.
Darin attended Lewis and Clark College, is an Oregon Project Management Associate and received a Certificate in Public Management from the Atkinson School of Management at Willamette University. While not working his passion is international travel, having experienced about 35 countries in Europe, Asia, Central and South America.
