34th Annual Conference and Technology Showcase – Call for Presentations

On January 10, NASTD sent out a call for presentations to the primary contacts from its corporate affiliate members for the 34th Annual Conference, scheduled to take place August 28 – September 1 in Omaha, Nebraska.  The proposal return deadline is Friday, February 18.

Vice President and Program Chair Claire Bailey (AR) has selected “Yours, Mine and Ours – State Technology Leaders Driving Operational Excellence” as this year’s conference theme, based on member feedback from last year’s Annual Conference in Portland, Oregon.

The conference emphasizes operational excellence in the delivery of public services by showcasing different methods and sourcing opportunities.  Presentations will be built around three major tracks:
  • Excellence in service leadership
  • Excellence in data center management
  • Excellence in network operations

Corporate affiliate members are invited to share their organizations’ leadership, expertise and experience by submitting a presentation proposal for consideration.

Inquiries regarding the process may be directed to Bailey or NASTD Executive Director Mark McCord.
