NASTD Safety Protocols
The National Association of State Technology Directors (NASTD) is committed to providing safe meeting environments and to ensuring the health and safety of all participants in its events.  

NASTD will require proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination for all participants attending a NASTD Regional Seminar.  All onsite attendees are required to upload proof of vaccination in advance before being allowed into the seminar.

Vaccination credentialing will be managed by ID.me both leading up to and during the seminar.  All registered attendees will receive a link from NASTD three weeks before the start of the seminar that will allow you to submit your vaccination card to the secure vaccination verification portal before the event.  You must show the vaccination verification upon your arrival at the registration desk before receiving your badge.  Attendees will also be required to wear a mask while attending all programs and social events.

City of New Orleans Vaccine Requirements
Beginning Tuesday, February 1st for everyone age 5+, the City of New Orleans is requiring proof of two doses of the COVID vaccine, except for those who have received one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, or a negative COVID test at restaurants, bars, and other businesses.

Get your COVID vaccine at the airport when you land at Ochsner’s vaccination site, located on Level 1 of the terminal between Doors 2 and 3 open seven days a week, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

These protocols may be revised from time to time to reflect changing pandemic-related circumstances and the latest guidance from appropriate public health officials and the CDC.  Please return to this website periodically for any updates or changes to these protocols.


GENERAL Registration GUIDELINES

  • The event registration cut-off date is February 21, 2022, 5:00pm ET; and advanced registration is required.  Please note that onsite registration will not be available.
  • Only NASTD members current on their annual dues will be able to register for the annual conference. If you are unsure about your organization’s membership status, contact Pam Johnson, meetings and member services manager, at pjohnson@csg.org or 859-244-8184.
  • Corporate affiliate members are not permitted to register non-member guests for the conference. The registrant’s email must match the member company’s email domain.
  • Payment is required by credit card at the time of registration. We welcome payments in the form of American Express, Visa and MasterCard.

NASTD Corporate Member Representatives - $1,050 per person

Your registration includes:

  • Attendance to all sessions – Tuesday, March 15 through Thursday, March 17
  • Meals and networking breaks
    • Networking Receptions - Evening of Monday and Wednesday
    • Breakfast - Tuesday through Thursday
    • Lunch - Tuesday through Thursday
    • Networking Breaks - Tuesday through Thursday
    • Closing Reception - Evening of Thursday, March 17

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Registrants who feel sick, who have tested positive for COVID-19 within 10 days of the NASTD Southern/Western Region Seminar (even if still asymptomatic), or who have been in close contact with anyone who has COVID-19 within 14 days of the NASTD Southern/Western Region Seminar should not attend this event. Registrants who cancel their meeting registration for any of these reasons will receive a full refund of any registration fees paid.

Registrants who discontinue their participation in the conference after becoming ill with symptoms associated with COVID-19 on site will receive a full refund of any registration fees paid.
