How can I attend the event?
You must be an NASTD member to attend an event. To allow adequate time for procurement processes, prospective members must join by July 10, 2025 to attend.
All deadlines are posted on the NASTD events page so you can plan accordingly. Please note that there are no late or on-site registrations or substitutions.
What can I expect from the annual conference?
The event is filled with keynotes, roundtables, and panels regarding state IT operations.
Are there exhibit opportunities at the annual conference?
Yes. Technology showcase tabletops are sold on an individual first come first served basis. Only completed contracts accompanied by full payment will be considered.
What does my registration include?
Full conference registration fees include access to the welcome reception on Sunday and the learning activities on Monday – Wednesday. Breakfast and lunch will be provided Monday – Wednesday.
Please note that some evening events like the Diamond Sponsor Reception and Exclusive Dinner are by invitation only.
How can I confirm I am registered?
It is the responsibility of the attendee to ensure they receive their registration confirmation to verify that their registration is finalized. If you do not receive a confirmation within 24 hours, please contact pjohnson@csg.org.
The attendee list is periodically published on the NASTD website behind login. If you are uncertain whether your registration is complete, please check this list on the website by the registration deadline. We do not accept late or onsite registrations, so please ensure your registration is complete by the deadline.
What are the cancellation policies?
Cancellation of registration must be submitted via e-mail and must be dated on or before July 25, 2025, to receive a refund less a $150 registration cancellation processing fee. After July 25, 2025, any payments made are not refundable for any reason, including, but not limited to, failure to use event registration due to illness or due to any event beyond the reasonable control of NASTD, such as an act of God, natural disaster, or travel-related complications.
Can I register for just one day?
One-day registration options are not available.
Can we make a substitution?
Substitutions may be made by August 1, 2025. After this date, no substitutions can be made. We do not accept substitutions on-site.
How many people will be at the conference?
We expect anywhere between 325-375 attendees at our annual conference. Roughly 75-100 state attendees representing approximately 30 states are present. The attendee list is published periodically behind the login on the website, so please check this list to see who has registered.
How can I present on a panel?
The call for panelists for the 2025 NASTD Annual Conference is now closed. This was sent out in March to state and corporate members.
The hotel is sold out. What should I do?
Often the NASTD room block sells out in advance for the main event dates. If that is the case, you will need to find another hotel to stay at.
What is the dress code?
We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your meeting experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a sweater or jacket with you during the day as the hotel ballrooms are air conditioned.
