NASTD state membership is open to all state departments or agencies having primary responsibility for providing IT resources for other state agencies and/or institutions. The membership is held in the name of the state which designates one IT manager as the primary communications and billing contact. This individual also serves as the NASTD voting contact. A secondary contact person is also designated for continuity purposes in the event the primary becomes unavailable. Additionally, each state’s IT organization may register an unlimited number of IT professionals working within its organization to receive NASTD membership privileges.
