Tony is the Chief Technology Officer for Government Services at Peraton. Prior to joining Peraton, Tony was the Chief Technology Officer for Public Sector and Defense, North America at Atos, Chief Strategist and Innovation Officer at Dell Technologies and Vice President of Technology at ViON Corp. Prior to Tony’s transition to the private sector, he was the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Information Officer for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Tony is a well-respected and sought after thought leader for large scale technology operations, cloud strategy planning, artificial intelligence, application modernization, telecommunications, digital transformation, mainframe operations and cyber security.
Tony is a retired United States Naval Officer with over 30 years of experience in information technology with the Department of Defense, state government and the private sector. During Tony’s distinguished military career, he served in leadership roles for the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), the Department of the Navy, Chief Information Officer and the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
Tony has been honored with Government Technology’s Top 25 Doers, Dreamers and Drivers, Computerworld Premier 100 IT Leaders and StateScoop State Executive of the Year awards.
Tony earned a Masters degree in Information Technology Management from the Naval Postgraduate School, a Bachelors degree in Mathematics from the University of Colorado-Boulder, a Masters certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and a Federal CIO Certification through Carnegie Mellon University.
